Birdwatching in the Wadden Sea
Dagebüll, Schleswig-Holstein (D)
The Jordsand Association, which specialises in bird protection on the German coasts, cordially invites you to the "Bird Watching in the Wadden Sea":
Birds have fascinated us since time began. The Wadden Sea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the hub of bird migration. Millions of migratory birds stop here to refuel on their way to Nordic breeding grounds and the local breeding has also begun.
In May, the fascinating abundance and diversity of bird life on the Wadden Sea is a true natural wonder.
Come with us on a walk full of bird discoveries. You don't need any prior knowledge, only to be curious and ready to be amazed by the Wadden Sea and its birdlife.
Please wear sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. You are welcome to bring your own binoculars. If you would like to borrow binoculars for the excursion, please contact us early.
